December 2014: Lunch-Colloquium in Salzburg

We are proud to announce that we are invited to the Lunch-Colloquium (“Mittagskolloquium”) at the University of Salzburg! We will cease the chance to present our newest findings concerning (what else?) the Viennese court and its staff!

The Lunch-Colloquium addresses itself mainly towards young historians and brings the chance for scientific conversation

When: December 11th, 2014, 1pm

Where: University of Salzburg, Fachbereich Geschichte, Rudolfskai 42, Room 116.

Topic (will be held in German): Der Wiener Hof im kaiserlichen Hof- und Ehrenkalender zwischen Information und Inszenierung (1711–1806).

 

June 2014: Workshop “Untertanensuppliken am Reichshofrat” in Graz

On Monday, June 16th and Tuesday, June 17th we participate in a workshop dealing with supplications before the Reichshofrat” in Graz in the era of emperor Rudolf II (1576–1612).

This workshop is organised by the Co-DFG and FWF Research Project “Untertanensuppliken am Reichshofrat” and hosted by Professors Gabriele Haug-Moritz and Sabine Ullmann.

Location: Zentrum für molekulare Biowissenschaften, Humboldtstraße 48, 2. floor, 8010 Graz

Our topic (will be held in German): „Formalisierte Gnade“. Das Supplikationswesen am Wiener Hof im 18. Jahrhundert

Even though we are slightly late for Rudolf´s era, we are happy to participate in this interesting workshop and get in contact with fellow historians.
